Meet Our Pastor
Tripp Castell has a deep love for Jesus, His church, and the city of Hickory, NC. A Hickory native, he graduated from Hickory High School and is thrilled to be planting a new church in his hometown—a place where he was raised and where he and his wife, Amy, have raised their six children. They’ve been married for 31 years and are now proud grandparents of two.
Before entering full-time ministry, Tripp earned a degree in finance from East Carolina University and worked as an executive recruiter. In 2013, he graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, answering God’s call to pastoral ministry. He has served as pastor in Lincolnton, NC and South Charlotte, where he faithfully shepherded congregations and developed a heart for church planting.
Now, with a strong desire to see gospel renewal in his hometown, Tripp is leading the launch of our new church plant in Hickory. His passion is to see people come to know Christ and grow in their faith.
